Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 702212 Size: SH
  1. Remove the park brake lever (11). Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Remove the following components:
    4. • The intermediate pipe
    • The catalytic converter heat shields
  4. Remove the front cable (3) from the equalizer (4).
  5. Remove the front cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 702212 Size: SH
  1. Install the front cable (3) to the equalizer (4).
  2. Position the front cable end into the passenger compartment.
  3. Install the following components:
    4. • The intermediate pipe
    • The catalytic converter heat shield
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Install the park brake lever. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement .
