Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2001 🢒 Prizm 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning 🢒 Control Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the center console trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    2. Object Number: 683118 Size: SH
  2. Remove the 2 screws and pull the HVAC control unit forward.
  3. Remove the 2 screws and the fresh/recirc switch.
  4. Disconnect the blower speed selector switch electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the A/C switch electrical connector.
  6. Remove the following from the HVAC control unit:
    7. • The temperature control cable
    • The mode control cable
  7. Remove the HVAC control unit.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the following to the HVAC control unit:
    2. • The temperature control cable
    • The mode control cable
  2. Connect the blower speed selector switch electrical connector.
  3. Connect the A/C switch electrical connector.

    4. Object Number: 683118 Size: SH
  4. Install the fresh/recirc switch. Secure with the 2 screws.
  5. Install the HVAC control unit to the instrument panel. Secure with the 2 screws.
  6. Install the center console trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  7. Adjust the cables as necessary, refer to the following:
    8. •  Temperature Control Cable Adjustment
    •  Mode Control Cable Adjustment
