Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement Full Width

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 431995  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Remove the 3 bolts (2) which secure the rear seat back cushion (1).
  3. Lift and remove the full width rear seat back cushion (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 431995  Size: SH
  1. Slide the 3 clips along the top of the full width rear seat back cushion into the retaining slots.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Lower the seat back cushion (1) into position. Secure the seat back cushion with the 3 bolts (2).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back cushion bolts to 7.9 N·m (70 lb in).

  5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 405680  Size: SH
  1. Remove the child seat. Refer to Child Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the 3 bolts (1) which secure the rear seat back cushion (2).

  3. Object Number: 241555  Size: SH
  4. Fold the seat back cushion down.
  5. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
  6. • The right center pivot support bolt (2)
    • The right rear seat back cushion (1)

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 241555  Size: SH
  1. Install the right rear seat back cushion (1) to the vehicle. Secure the seat back cushion with the center pivot support bolt (2).
  2. Install the seat back cushion to the upright position.

  3. Object Number: 405680  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.   4. Install the 3 bolts (1) that secure the rear seat back cushion.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat cushion bolts to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  6. Install the child seat. Refer to Child Seat Replacement .
