1. Install the scan tool.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Select BCM DTC with the scan tool.
4. Check for any stored DTCs which may have an effect on serial data line communication.
5. Turn ignition switch OFF.
6. Remove the scan tool.

No DTCs are stored in memory.

DTC is stored in memory. Go to applicable DTC table.

Unlock the doors using the remote keyless entry.

1. The inside rearview mirror courtesy lamps illuminate.
2. The LH/RH instrument panel courtesy lamps illuminate.
3. The LH/RH rear compartment courtesy lamps illuminate.

1. Close the driver's door.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Turn the LH/RH rearview mirror lamp switches ON and OFF.

The inside rearview mirror convenience lamps illuminate.

Open and close the instrument panel glovebox door.

The instrument panel storage compartment lamp illuminates.

Open and close the LH/RH vanity mirror covers.

The LH/RH vanity mirror lamps illuminate.

Vanity Mirror Lamp Inoperative

Open and close the engine compartment.

The underhood lamp illuminates.
