Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the console upper trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Upper Console Trim Plate Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 1195800  Size: SH
  3. Remove the upper 2 screws located near the body control module.
  4. Move the gearshift into the PARK position.
  5. Position the park brake lever to the full UP position.
  6. Move both seats to the forward position.

  7. Object Number: 1174608  Size: SH
  8. Hold the console and move forward of vehicle to release the front retaining tabs (1).

  9. Object Number: 1174591  Size: SH
  10. Lift up on the rear of the console and remove from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1174591  Size: SH
  1. Lift up on the rear of the console and install into the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 1174608  Size: SH
  3. Hold the console and move rearward of vehicle to engage the front retaining tabs (1).
  4. Position the park brake lever to the full DOWN position.
  5. Move the gearshift into the LOW position.

  6. Object Number: 1195800  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the 2 upper screws located near the body control module.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  9. Install the console upper trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Upper Console Trim Plate Replacement .
