Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 471321 Size: SH

    Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

  1. Remove the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  2. Remove the front side door window outer sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  3. Raise the front side door window (1) slightly in order to gain access to the front side door window mounting screws (2).
  4. Remove the 2 screws (2) which secure the door window (1) to the front side door window regulator.
  5. Remove the door window (1) from the door.
  6. Remove the 2 retainers on the bottom of the door window (1), if necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 471321 Size: SH
  1. Install the 2 retainers to the bottom of the front side door window (1), if removed.
  2. Install the door window (1) to the front side door. Secure the window to the front side door window regulator with the 2 mounting screws (2). Do not tighten fully at this time.

    3. Object Number: 474178 Size: SH
  3. Adjust the door window so that the measurements between the window and the front side door frame are equal at the points (1, 2).

    4. Object Number: 471321 Size: SH
  4. Tighten the front side door window mounting screws (2).
  5. Install the front side door window outer sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  6. Install the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
