Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement Catalytic Converter

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the three-way catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
3. Remove the rivets at the catalytic converter heat shield.
4. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield from the vehicle.

1. Install the catalytic converter heat shield to the vehicle with rivets.
2. Install the three-way catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
3. Lower the vehicle.

Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement Exhaust Muffler

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement .
3. Remove the rivets at the exhaust muffler heat shield.
4. Remove the exhaust muffler heat shield from the vehicle.

1. Install the exhaust muffler heat shield to the vehicle with rivets.
2. Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement .
3. Lower the vehicle.
