Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1279833 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the heater/air distribution case from the vehicle. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
  3. Remove the air mix door motor connector and wiring.
  4. Remove the lower heater module cover and the clip inside.
  5. Remove the 7 screws and sealing sponges.

    Important: Be careful while removing the sealing materials and replace if damaged.

  6. Slowly separate the left and right heater module case and remove the heater core.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1279836 Size: SH
  1. Install the heater and close the heater module case.

    2. Object Number: 1279833 Size: SH
  2. Install the 7 screws and sealing sponges.
  3. Install the lower heater module cover and the clip inside.
  4. Install the air mix door motor connector and wiring.
  5. Install the heater/air distribution case to the vehicle. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
