1. Turn ON the ignition.
2. Measure the voltage at the wiper motor connector terminal 5.

Does the voltage measure with the specified range?

11-14 V

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 2

Repair the open circuit between the wiper motor connector terminal 5 and fuse F11.

Did you complete the repair?

System OK

--

1. Turn the wiper switch to HI.
2. While turning OFF the wiper switch, measure the voltage at the wiper motor connector terminal 5.

When the wiper switch is off, is the voltage within the specified range?

11-14 V

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Replace the wiper motor. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Motor Replacement .

1. Disconnect the wiper relay.
2. Measure the continuity between wiper relay terminal 31b and 53e.

Does the the resistance indicate the specified value.

0 ohms

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Repair the open circuit between the wiper motor and the wiper relay.

Did you complete the repair?

Replace the wiper relay.
