An unbalanced propeller shaft and universal joint assembly may be caused by one or more of the following conditions:
• | Missing balance weights |
• | Bent, dented, or damaged tubing |
• | Worn slip spline (inboard type) |
• | Foreign material on the propeller shaft tubing or the end yokes |
• | Improperly installed propeller shaft and universal joint assembly |
Do not replace missing balance weights or straighten a bent tube.
