  1. Install the lower steering shaft assembly into the steering column jacket assembly.

    2. Object Number: 382912 Size: SH
  2. Lubricate the bearing assembly (1).
  3. Install the bearing assembly (1) into the adapter and bearing assembly (2).

    4. Object Number: 382900 Size: SH
  4. Install the adapter and bearing assembly (1).
  5. Install the bearing adapter retainer (2).
  6. Install the lower bearing adapter clip (3) onto the bearing adapter retainer (2).
  7. Install the ignition and key alarm switch assembly and the dimmer switch assembly only. Refer to Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
  8. Install the lock housing assembly. Refer to Lock Housing Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
