Removal Procedure

Caution: To prevent personal injury, gloves should be worn when removing broken glass.

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the stationary window assembly. Refer to Rear Window Replacement in Stationary Windows.
  4. Remove the weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  5. Remove the rear window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement .
  6. Push the window rearward.
  7. Rotate the window in order to release the window sash channel from the regulator rollers.
  8. Remove the window from the regulator by disengaging the retaining clip.

  9. Object Number: 333900  Size: SH
  10. Remove the window from the door (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Move the regulator to the half-way down position in order to locate the front roller.

  2. Object Number: 333900  Size: SH
  3. Install the window into the door (1).
  4. Install the window to the regulator by engaging the retaining clip.
  5. Insert the window sash channel into the rear roller.
  6. Level the glass.
  7. Slide the glass forward into the front roller.

  8. Lift the window lightly by hand in order to inspect the alignment of the window.
  9. The window should feel stationary.

  10. Install the rear window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement .
  11. Install the weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  12. Install the stationary window assembly. Refer to Rear Window Replacement in Stationary Windows.
  13. Install the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  14. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
