  1. Disconnect the harness connector from the wiper motor.
  2. Measure the voltage at the rear wiper motor harness connector, terminal C?

Is battery voltage present?

  1. Close the endgate. Close the liftgate.
  2. Set the rear wiper switch to the position in which the rear wiper does not operate.
  3. Turn ON the ignition.
  4. Measure the voltage at the rear wiper motor harness connector, terminal B.

Is battery voltage present?

Connect a test lamp from wiper motor harness connector terminal C to terminal A.

Is the test lamp lit?

  1. Turn ON the ignition.
  2. Backprobe at the wiper switch harness connector, terminal A.

Backprobe at the wiper switch harness connector, terminal B, while holding the washer switch in the ON position.

Is battery voltage present at terminal B?

Inspect the rear wiper switch for a poor connection.
