Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement YC5 and YC6

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the headrests. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
3. Remove the rear seat armrests, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
4. Remove the left hinge. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement .
5. Remove the right hinge. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement .
6. Remove the headrest bushings.
7. Unzip the trim cover.
8. Remove the trim cover and pad assembly from the seat back frame.

Important: Note the locations of the hog rings. This will assist with reassembly.

9. Remove the hog rings retaining the trim cover to the pad.
10. Remove the trim cover from the pad.

1. Install the rear seat trim cover to the pad.
2. Install the hog rings in order to retain the trim cover to the pad. Install the rings in the locations noted during disassembly.
3. Install the trim cover and pad assembly to the seat back frame.
4. Zip the trim cover closed.
5. Press the headrest bushings into place.
6. Install the right hinge. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement .
7. Install left hinge. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement .
8. Install the rear seat armrests, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
9. Install the headrests. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
10. Install the rear seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .

Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement YC7

1. Remove the rear seat headrest. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
2. Remove the rear seat armrests. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
3. Remove the J-hook along the bottom edge of the seat back.
4. Separate the hook and loop fasteners retaining the trim cover to the pad along the seat back break line.



5. Remove the trim cover from the seat back.



6. Remove the pad from the seat back frame.

1. Install the pad to the seat back frame.



2. Install the trim cover to the seat back.

Important: For the best finished appearance, proceed as follows when attaching the trim cover to the pad:

1. Center the trim cover on the pad.
2. Starting at the top and working down the sides, apply pressure along the break line in order to help attach the trim cover to the hook-and-loop fasteners.
3. Attach the trim cover to the pad.
4. Install the armrests. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
5. Install the headrests. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
