Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the bench seat and risers from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the right and left sides of the seat back hinge trim. Refer to Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Right Side and Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Left Side .

    3. Important: Note the position and length of the bolts you remove. This will assist with reassembly.

  3. Remove the bolts retaining the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame.

    4. Object Number: 502164 Size: SH
  4. Remove the J-hooks that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame.

    5. Important: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.

  5. Remove the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame located at the rear edge of the seat frame.

    6. Object Number: 502171 Size: SH
  6. Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame.

    7. Important: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.


    Object Number: 502187 Size: SH
  7. Remove the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad located under the seat cushion cover.
  8. Remove the seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad.

    2. Object Number: 502187 Size: SH
  2. Install the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad located under the seat cushion cover.

    3. Object Number: 502171 Size: SH
  3. Install the seat back cushion cover and pad to the seat cushion frame.

    4. Object Number: 502178 Size: SH
  4. Install the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame located at the rear edge of the seat frame.

    5. Object Number: 502164 Size: SH
  5. Install the J-hooks that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame.

    6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 502203 Size: SH
  6. Install the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  7. Install the right and left sides of the seat back hinge trim. Refer to Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Right Side and Rear Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Left Side .
  8. Install the bench seat and risers in the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
