J 41371 Reluctor Wheel Remover

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

   Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

2. Remove the air cleaner intake duct.
3. Remove the engine cooling fan. Refer to Engine Cooling Fan Replacement in Engine Cooling.
4. Remove the water pump. Refer to Water Pump Replacement in Engine Cooling.
5. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .



6. Remove the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring using J 41371 .

Tools Required

J 22102 Crankshaft Sprocket Installer

1. Install the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring using J 22102 .
2. Install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
3. Install the water pump. Refer to Water Pump Replacement in Engine Cooling.
4. Install the engine cooling fan. Refer to Engine Cooling Fan Replacement in Engine Cooling.
5. Install the air cleaner air duct.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
