Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the oil filter.
  2. Remove the oil filter adapter. Refer to Engine Block Disassemble .
  3. For oil bypass valve removal procedure, refer to Engine Block Disassemble .

Installation Procedure
  1. For oil bypass valve installation procedure, refer to Engine Block Assemble .
  2. Install the oil filter adapter. Refer to Engine Block Assemble .
  3. Install the oil filter.
  4. Add engine oil as needed.
