Exhaust Manifold Replacement Left

1. Remove the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.



4. Disconnect the EGR inlet pipe from the exhaust manifold.
5. Remove the spark plugs. Refer to Spark Plug Replacement
6. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal (Left)
7. Clean all sealing surfaces. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Clean and Inspect

1. Install the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Installation (Left)



2. Connect the EGR inlet pipe to the manifold.
3. Install the spark plugs. Refer to Spark Plug Replacement
4. Install the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement
5. Connect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.

Exhaust Manifold Replacement Right

1. Remove the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement
5. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal (Right)
6. Clean all sealing surfaces. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Clean and Inspect

1. Install the exhaust manifold.

Refer to Exhaust Manifold Installation (Right)

2. Install the oil level indicator tube .Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement .
3. Install the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
4. Connect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
