Connect a J 35616-200 unpowered test lamp between connector C307 (driver's seat) or C306 (passenger seat) cavity A for CKT 540 (ORN) and a known good ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the PWR ACCY Fuse A and C307 or C306. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Reconnect C307 or C306.
  2. Disconnect the power seat switch connector.
  3. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter between the power seat switch connector pin C for CKT 150 (BLK) and a known good ground.
  4. Test for continuity. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
