DEFINITION: One of the following conditions occurs:

- Turn ON the ignition.
- Turn ON the wireless headphones.
- Test the operation of the radio and rear seat audio (RSA) control
with the rear video system OFF.
- Turn OFF the radio and the RSA control.
- Turn ON power to the video cassette player (VCP) and the front
video display.
- Insert a pre-recorded VHS tape in the VCP and press the PLAY button
on the VCP. The front video display plays video from the VCP. Video audio
plays through the rear speakers and the wireless headphones, both channels.
- While the VCP is playing, turn the radio ON. The rear speakers
mute. The front speakers play radio audio. Video audio plays through the wireless
headphones, both channels.
- Turn ON the RSA control. The wired headphones play radio audio.
- Test the wireless headphones using the channel switch and the
volume control on the headphones. The wireless headphones play radio audio
through one channel and video audio through the other channel.

a known good set of wireless headphones.

- Disconnect the front video display connector C2.
- Turn ON the ignition.
- Lower the front video display.
- Turn ON the rear seat audio (RSA) control and tune the radio to
play a station with a strong signal.
- Measure the AC voltage of each of the following circuits at the
harness connector C2 of the front video display:
• | The right rear low level audio signal (+) circuit |
• | The left rear low level audio signal (+) circuit |

- Measure the DC voltage of the rear seat audio enable signal circuit
at the harness connector C2 of the front video display.
