Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the jack and tool container. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Container Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 313466  Size: SH
  3. Remove the nuts (5) that retain the lower portion of the bracket to the vehicle.
  4. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the upper portion of the bracket to the vehicle.
  5. Remove the bracket (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 313466  Size: SH
  1. Install the jack stowage bracket (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the jack stowage bracket retaining bolts (2) to the vehicle.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the jack stowage bracket retaining nuts (5) to the vehicle.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the jack and tool container. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Container Replacement .
