Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1774316 Size: SH
  1. Discharge the A/C (Air Conditioning) system, if equipped.
  2. Remove the radiator grille guide and grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1820422 Size: SH
  3. Remove the engine under cover. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  4. Remove the hood primary latch support. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 1820433 Size: SH
  5. Remove the charge air cooler inlet/outlet hoses. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe and Outlet Pipe Replacement .
  6. Remove the A/C condenser from the radiator. Refer to Condenser Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 1822509 Size: SH
  7. Remove the radiator upper bracket.
  8. Remove the charge air cooler bolts.
  9. Remove the charge air cooler.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1822509 Size: SH
  1. Install the charge air cooler to the radiator.
  2. Install the charge air cooler bolts.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the radiator upper bracket.

    4. Tighten

        • Tighten the charge air cooler bolts to 8.5 N·m (75.2 lb in).
        • Tighten the radiator upper bracket bolts to 20 N·m (14.8  lb ft).
