Caution: Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution in the Preface section.

1. Remove the power brake booster. Refer to Power Brake Booster Replacement.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.



3. Remove the mounting bolts.
4. Remove the pump.

Note: Replace the O-ring seals each time the power brake booster pump is separated from the power brake booster. Do not reuse the O-ring seals.

5. Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

1. Install new O-ring seals to the power brake booster pump.



2. Install the pump.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the mounting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 29 N·m (21 lb ft).

4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Install the power brake booster. Refer to Power Brake Booster Replacement.
