Headlining Trim Panel Replacement Pickup

1. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
2. Remove the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
3. Remove the quarter panel trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Remove the rear window upper molding. Refer to Rear Window Upper Molding Replacement .
5. Remove the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .



6. Remove the headliner.

6.1.	Grasp the panel on the left side and the right side near the front of the cab.

6.2.	Disengage the front of the panel from the roof.

1. Install the headliner to the vehicle.
2. Insert the retainers into the windshield frame.
3. Install the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .
4. Install the rear window upper molding. Refer to Rear Window Upper Molding Replacement .
5. Install the quarter panel trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
6. Install the assist handle, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
7. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .

Headlining Trim Panel Replacement Extended Cab

1. Remove the IP trim panel in order to disconnect the electrical connectors, if required. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
2. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
3. Remove the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
4. Remove the rear window lower molding. Refer to Rear Window Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
5. Remove the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .



6. Remove the headliner.

6.1.	Grasp the panel on the left side and the right side near the front of the cab.

6.2.	Disengage the front of the panel from the roof.

1. Install the headliner to the vehicle.
2. Insert the retainers into the windshield frame.
3. Install the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .
4. Install the rear window upper molding. Refer to Rear Window Upper Molding Replacement .
5. Install the quarter panel trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
6. Install the rear window lower molding. Refer to Rear Window Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
7. Install the assist handle, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
8. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
9. Install the IP trim panel in order to disconnect the electrical connectors, if removed. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.

Headlining Trim Panel Replacement Crew Cab

1. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
2. Remove the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
3. Remove the rear window lower molding. Refer to Rear Window Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
4. Remove the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .



5. Remove the headliner.

5.1.	Grasp the panel on the left side and the right side near the front of the cab.

5.2.	Disengage the front of the panel from the roof.

1. Install the headliner to the vehicle.
2. Insert the retainers into the windshield frame.
3. Install the upper windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .
4. Install the rear window upper molding. Refer to Rear Window Upper Molding Replacement .
5. Install the quarter panel trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
6. Install the rear window lower molding. Refer to Rear Window Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
7. Install the assist handle, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
8. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .

Headlining Trim Panel Replacement Utility

1. Remove the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
2. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
3. Remove the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
4. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
5. Disconnect the electrical connector for the dome lamps.
6. Remove the HVAC control assembly, if equipped. Refer to Control Assembly Replacement in Heater, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
7. Remove the upper windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .
8. Remove the rear seat belt upper trim covers. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Replacement in Seatbelts.
9. Remove the upper center trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
10. Remove the cargo door lock pillar molding panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
11. Remove the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement

1. Install the headliner to the vehicle.



2. Install the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement .
3. Install the cargo door lock pillar molding panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
4. Install the upper center trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
5. Install the rear seat belt upper trim covers. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Replacement in Seatbelts.
6. Install the upper windshield garnish moldings.Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper .
7. Install the HVAC control assembly, if equipped.Refer to Control Assembly Replacement in Heater, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
8. Install the dome lamps.
9. Install the coat hooks.Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
10. Install the windshield garnish moldings.Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
11. Install the sunshades.Refer to Sunshade Replacement
12. Install the assist handles, if equipped.Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
