Removal Procedure
Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door.
When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move
very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.
- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to

- Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to
Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement

- Remove the front door window regulator. Refer to
Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement
.
- Remove the window regulator and motor through the access opening in the
inner panel.
- Remove the power window motor bolts from the window regulator.
Installation Procedure
- Install the window regulator and motor through
the access opening in the inner panel.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the power window motor bolts to the window regulator.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
- Install the window regulator and motor through the access opening.
- Install the front door window regulator. Refer to

- Inspect the window for proper operation.
- Install the front door water deflector. Refer to
Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement

- Install the front door trim panel. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
