Makes 🢒 HUMMER 🢒 2009 🢒 H2 🢒 Body Repair 🢒 Bolted Exterior Body Panels and Closures 🢒 Endgate Lower Hinge Replacement - Body Side

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the endgate from the vehicle. Refer to Endgate Replacement.
  2. Mark the position of the endgate hinge using a grease pencil.

    3. Object Number: 1412521 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts retaining the hinge trunnion to the vehicle.
  4. Remove the hinge trunnion from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1412521 Size: SH
  1. Install the hinge trunnion to the vehicle.
  2. Position the hinge in the same position as marked during removal.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolts retaining the hinge to the body.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge to body bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  4. Install the endgate to the vehicle. Refer to Endgate Replacement.
  5. Inspect and adjust the endgate alignment, if needed.
