Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove rear seat back cushion frame. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement.
2. Remove rear seat outer recliner finish cover. Refer to Rear Seat Outer Recliner Rear Finish Cover Replacement.

Rear Seat Back Latch Bolt (Qty: 5)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
45 N·m (33 lb ft)

Tip
Pull seat cushion strap forward to unlock seat frame from seat riser.

Rear Seat Back Latch

Procedure

1. Disconnect head restraint adjustor cable.
2. Pull latch outboard to remove it from riser and seat back frame.

Tip
Transfer any parts as needed.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement.
2. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
45 N·m (33 lb ft)

1. Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
2. Transfer any parts as needed.
