Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove both cargo carrier pick up box side rails. Refer to Cargo Carrier Pickup Box Side Rail Replacement.
2. Remove the cargo carrier pick up box front cap from the side rails. Refer to Cargo Carrier Pickup Box Front Cap Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Cargo Carrier Pick Up Box Front Rail Anchor (Qty: 3)

Procedure

1. Remove the pick up box front rail butterfly anchors from the plastic retainers.
2. Reach behind the rear of the cab and the front of the box to remove the butterfly anchors.
