Disassembly Procedure

    Object Number: 1255635 Size: SH
  1. Remove the control arm. Refer to Control Arm Replacement.
  2. Drill off the heads of the 3 rivets with a 12 mm (0.47 in) drill bit.
  3. Punch out the rivets with a drift.

Assembly Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1255637 Size: SH
  1. Connect the ball joint to the control arm by inserting 3 ball joint bolts from below the control arm and tighten to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).
  2. Install the control arm. Refer to Control Arm Replacement.
