Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2034900 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the rear object alarm sensor electrical connectors (1) from the rear object alarm sensors.
  4. Remove the rear object alarm sensor electrical harness (2) from the rear bumper fascia (3).

    5. Object Number: 2034586 Size: SH
  5. Remove all four rear object alarm sensors (1) by disengaging the retaining tangs (2) and pulling the sensor outwards away from the rear bumper fascia (3).
  6. Remove the sensor coupling rings (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2034586 Size: SH
  1. Install the sensor coupling rings (4) onto the four rear object alarm sensors (1).
  2. Install the four rear object alarm sensors (1) into the rear bumper fascia (3) engaging the retaining tangs (2).

  3. Install the rear object alarm sensor electrical harness (2) onto the rear bumper fascia (3).
  4. Connect the rear object alarm sensor electrical connectors (1) onto the rear object alarm sensors.
  5. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  6. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
