1. Remove the rear bumper step pad. Refer to Rear Bumper Step Pad Replacement.
2. Remove the rear bumper step center pad. Refer to Rear Bumper Step Center Pad Replacement.

Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bracket (Qty: 8)

Tighten
40 N·m (30 lb ft)
