Removal Procedure
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Cable Replacement in Engine Electrical.
Remove the instrument cluster trim. Refer to
Instrument Cluster Replacement
.
Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to
Instrument Cluster Replacement
.
Disconnect the instrument cluster electrical connector.
Remove the speedometer. Refer to
Instrument Cluster Replacement
.
Disconnect the speedometer electrical connector.
Remove the trim surrounding the radio. Refer to
Radio Replacement
in Entertainment.
Remove the right and left lower assist handles and the lower assist handle trim.
Remove the right side lower instrument panel trim.
Carefully pry up the defroster grilles and remove them.
Remove the upper instrument panel retaining bolts.
Remove the instrument panel upper trim.
Remove the center relay housing.
Remove the hood release cable handle.
Disconnect the instrument panel wiring harness.
Remove the instrument panel support.
Installation Procedure
Install the instrument panel support.
Connect the instrument panel wiring harness.
Install the hood release cable handle.
Install the center relay housing.
Install the instrument panel upper trim.
Install the upper instrument panel retaining bolts.
Install the defroster grilles.
Install the right side lower instrument panel trim.
Install the right and left lower assist handles and the lower assist handle trim.
Connect the radio and climate control assembly electrical connector.
Install the trim surrounding the radio.
Connect the speedometer electrical connector. Refer to
Radio Replacement
in Entertainment.
Install the speedometer. Refer to
Instrument Cluster Replacement
.
Connect the instrument cluster electrical connector.
Install the instrument cluster.
Install the instrument cluster trim.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery cale Replacement. in Engine Electrical.
