Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the hood and support.
  2. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  3. Remove the windshield wiper right link.
  4. Remove the heater hose clamps.

    5. Object Number: 229937 Size: SH
  5. Remove the heater hoses.

    6. Object Number: 229939 Size: SH
  6. Remove the heater core cover plate screws.
  7. Remove the heater core cover plate.
  8. Remove the heater core screw.

    9. Object Number: 229941 Size: SH
  9. Remove the right or left heater core.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 229941 Size: SH
  1. Install the right or left heater core.
  2. Install the heater core screw.
  3. Install the heater core cover plate.

    4. Object Number: 229939 Size: SH
  4. Install the heater core cover plate screws.

    5. Object Number: 229937 Size: SH
  5. Install the heater hoses.
  6. Install the heater hose clamps.
  7. Install the windshield wiper right link.
  8. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.

    9. Check the system for leaks.

  9. Close the hood.
