Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the assist handle bolts.

    2. Object Number: 229889 Size: SH
  2. Remove the assist handle.

    3. Object Number: 588991 Size: SH
  3. Remove the instrument panel right lower trim.
  4. Remove the air distributor lower duct. Refer to Air Distributor Duct Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 229948 Size: SH
  5. Remove the recirculation actuator screws.
  6. Remove the recirculation actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 229948 Size: SH
  1. Install the recirculation actuator.
  2. Install the recirculation actuator screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the recirculation actuator electrical connectors.
  4. Install the air distributor lower duct. Refer to Air Distributor Duct Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 588991 Size: SH
  5. Install the instrument panel right lower trim.

    6. Object Number: 229889 Size: SH
  6. Install the assist handle.
  7. Install the assist handle bolts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
