- Take the following steps in order to set-up for the EEPROM Programming.
| • | The battery is charged. |
| • | The battery and cigarette lighter connection is secure. |
| • | The Data Link Connector (DLC). |
- Refer to Isuzu Technical Communication System (ITCS) for assistance
if necessary.
- If the VCM fails to program, check the following functions:
| • | All of the VCM connections |
| • | The Techline terminal and equipment for the latest software version |
- Try again to program the VCM. Replace the VCM if necessary. Replace
the VCM if unable to program.
Notice: The ignition should always be OFF when installing or removing the VCM
connectors in order to prevent damage.
- Perform the IAC valve reset procedure with the scan tool. Use the miscellaneous
test.
- For a functional check perform one of the steps:
| • | Use the (ITCS) and equipment in order to perform the On-Board
Diagnostic (OBD) System Check. |
