  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the left front power window switch between terminal D (Coupe) (of connector C1, terminal E Sedan) and ground.
  3. Press the left front switch in the left front power window switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Backprobe the LF power window switch with a test lamp between terminal E (Coupe) or terminal D of connector  C1 (Sedan) and ground.
  2. Press the left front switch in the left front power window switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the left front power window motor.
  2. Connect a test lamp between terminal A of the left front power window motor connector and ground.
  3. Press the left front switch in the left front power window switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Replace the left front power window switch. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a test lamp between terminal B of the left front power window motor connector and ground.
  2. Press the left front switch in the left front power window switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 164 between the left front power window motor and the left front power window switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Replace the left front power window motor. Refer to Power Window Motor Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 1136 between the left front power window switch and the left front power window motor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
