Door Handle Bezel Replacement Pontiac

1. Remove the retaining screw (1).
2. Pull the front of the cup out of the door trim panel (2).
3. Slide the cup forward over the pull handle while in the open position.

1. Push the cup into the trim panel, making sure the rear tabs engage and slide backward to the door trim panel (2).
2. Install the retaining screw into the door handle remote cup (1).

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the door handle bezel screw.
3. Slide the bezel around the door handle in order to remove the bezel from the door.

1. Slide the bezel around the door handle in order to install the bezel to the door.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the door handle bezel screw.

Tighten
Tighten the door handle bezel screw to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

3. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
