Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel from the door. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the window rear run channel. Refer ro Front Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement .
  3. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to (change this link) Front Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement
  4. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 595861 Size: SH
  5. Remove the door lock actuator retaining bolts.
  6. Remove the actuator from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 595861 Size: SH
  1. Install the door lock actuator to the door.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the actuator bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 7 N·m (60 lb in).

  3. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  4. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Refer to (change this link) Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  5. Install the window rear run channel. Refer to Refer ro Front Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement .
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
