Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 740566  Size: SH
  1. Raise the front bucket seat to the full up position in order to gain access to the power seat switch.
  2. Remove the bezel from the power seat switch by pulling off.

  3. Object Number: 740550  Size: SH
  4. Pull back the front seat cushion trim in order to gain access to the power seat switch. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .
  5. Remove the screws from the power seat switch.

  6. Object Number: 740539  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power seat switch.
  8. Remove the power seat switch from the front seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the power seat switch.

  2. Object Number: 740550  Size: SH
  3. Position the power seat switch to the front seat cushion frame.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the screws to the power seat switch.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the power seat switch screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  7. Pull back the front seat cushion trim. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .
  8. Reposition the front bucket seat to the original position.
  9. Remove the bezel from the power seat switch by pressing into place until fully seated.
