Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 740586 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Pull back the front seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the front seat back recliner handle. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement .
  4. Pull back the front seat cushion cover in order to access the recliner bolts and cable. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .
  5. Disconnect the cable from the front seat recliner mechanisms, by rotating the cable downward approximately 90 degrees.
  6. Remove the bolts from the front seat recliner mechanism.
  7. Remove the front seat recliner mechanism from the front seat frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 740586 Size: SH
  1. Position the front seat recliner mechanism to the front seat frame.
  2. Install the bolts to the front seat recliner mechanism.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat recliner mechanism bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the cable to the front seat recliner mechanisms, by rotating the cable downward approximately 90 degrees.
  4. Pull back the front seat cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .
  5. Install the front seat back recliner handle. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement .
  6. Pull back the front seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  7. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
