- Carefully, so as not to damage the seats, install the console
into the vehicle by sliding forward and fitting up to the IP.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the fasteners (1)
from the console to the floor.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners (1) to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
- Move the seat to the full forward position.
- Install the fasteners (2) from the console to the floor.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners (2) to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
- Install the fasteners (1, 2)
from the console to the IP.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners (1) to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the fastener (2) to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the right side
fastener (1).
Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Connect the main wiring
harness connector.
- Install the park/shift
lock cable.
- Install the shifter cable.
- Install the console trim plate. Refer to

- Install the right console trim panel. Refer to

- Install the left console trim panel. Refer to

- Install the tray assembly. Refer to

- Install the console trim plate. Refer to

- Install the center IP trim plate. Refer to
