Removal Procedure

  1. Close the window.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 441799  Size: SH
  5. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  6. Remove the fasteners (1,2,3) securing the power window motor to the window regulator.
  7. Remove the power window motor from the regulator.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 508156  Size: SH
  1. Install the power window motor (1) to the window regulator (3).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the power window motor to regulator fasteners.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the power window motor fasteners to 4 N·m (62 lb in).

  5. Install the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  6. Check for proper operation of the window motor .
  7. Reinstall the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
