- Remove key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
- Close all vehicle doors.
- While observing the door locks, press lock then unlock on the
driver's door lock switch.
- While observing the door locks, press lock then unlock on the
passenger door lock switch.
Do all doors lock and unlock when using either door lock switch?

- Disconnect the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) electrical
connector.
- Disconnect the BCM connector C1.
- Using a DMM, measure the resistance between the BCM harness connector C1
terminal C15 and the RCDLR harness connector terminal E.
Is the resistance measured within the specified range?
| Less than 2ohms

- Replace the RCDLR.
- Reconnect the BCM.
- Reprogram all transmitters. Refer to
Receiver Replacement
for service procedure.
- Make sure key is removed from the ignition key cylinder lock.
- Close all vehicle doors.
- While observing the door locks, press once the lock button on
the keyless entry transmitter.
- While observing the door locks press twice the unlock button on
the keyless entry transmitter.
- While observing the headlamps and listening to the horn, press
the alarm button on the keyless entry transmitter.
Does the keyless entry system operate the door locks and alarm?

- Replace the BCM. Refer to
Body Control Module Replacement
in Body Control System for service procedures.
- After BCM replacement, perform the Setup New BCM procedure. Refer
to
Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration
in Body Control System.

- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Reinstall connectors/components removed.
- Check for BCM current DTCs. Refer to
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Displaying
in Body Control System for procedure.
