Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 334204  Size: SH
  1. Remove the retainer from the tube and the vehicle.
  2. Remove the tube with the seal from the washer solvent container.
  3. Remove the seal from the tube.

  5. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  6. Remove the wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  7. Remove the inner fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  8. Remove the connector and the hose from the washer pump.
  9. Remove three screws and the washer solvent container from the vehicle (the washer solvent level sensor is still connected).
  10. Remove the connector from the washer solvent level sensor.
  11. Remove two screws and the bracket from the washer solvent container.
  12. Remove the solvent level sensor from the washer solvent container.
  13. Remove the solvent level sensor seal from the washer solvent container.
  14. Remove the washer pump and seal. Refer to Washer Pump Replacement .

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 334222  Size: SH
  1. Install the washer pump and the seal. Refer to Washer Pump Replacement .
  2. Install the solvent level sensor seal on the washer solvent container.
  3. Install solvent level sensor on the solvent container.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the bracket with two screws on the washer solvent container.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  7. Install the connector onto washer solvent level sensor.
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the washer solvent container on the vehicle with three screws.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  11. Install the connector and the hose to the washer pump.
  12. Install the inner fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  13. Install the wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  14. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  15. Object Number: 334204  Size: SH
  16. Install the seal onto the tube.
  17. Install the tube with the seal on the washer solvent container.
  18. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  19. Install the tube on the vehicle with the screw.
  20. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
