Was the Body Control Module (BCM) Diagnostic System Check performed?

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector of the inoperative door lock actuator motor.
  3. Using a test light, connect between the inoperative door lock actuator motor harness connector C2 terminal A and B.
  4. While observing the test light, press unlock on either door lock switch.

Does the test light flash once upon pressing lock on door lock switch?

  1. Using a test light, connect between the inoperative door lock actuator motor harness connector C2 terminal A and ground.
  2. While observing the test light, press unlock on either door lock switch.

Does the test light flash once upon pressing unlock on door lock switch?

Replace the door lock actuator motor. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement or Rear Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement in Doors for service procedure.
