Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the close-out panel on the center rear of the sliding door inner trim panel.
  2. Ensure that you gain access to the sliding door center roller bracket and the bolts.

  3. Open the sliding door.
  4. Support the bottom of the sliding door.

  5. Object Number: 319964  Size: SH
  6. Remove the pin from the sliding door center roller bracket.
  7. Mark the location of the sliding door center roller bracket (door side) on the door using a grease pencil.

  8. Object Number: 319985  Size: SH
  9. Remove the sliding door center roller (door side) bracket bolts.
  10. Remove the sliding door center roller bracket (door side) from the sliding door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 319985  Size: SH
  1. Install the sliding door center roller bracket (door side) to the sliding door.
  2. Install the sliding door center roller bracket (door side) bolts.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Tighten
    Tighten the center roller bracket bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the pin to the sliding door center roller bracket.
  5. Remove the support from the bottom of the sliding door.
  6. Adjust the sliding door if necessary.
  7. Refer to the appropriate procedure:

    •  Rear Side Door Up/Down Adjustment
    •  Rear Side Door Front Edge In/Out Adjustment
    •  Rear Side Door Rear Edge In/Out Adjustment
  8. Install the close-out panel on the center rear of the sliding door inner trim panel.
  9. Ensure that you cover the sliding door center roller bracket and the bolts.
