1. Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement.
2. Remove fastener oil dipstick tube for access.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Procedure

Transfer or replace the exhaust manifold gasket as needed.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the turbocharger replacement. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to LINK.
