Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement
2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement
3. Remove teh engine coolant thermostat replacement. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement
4. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation cooling pipe replacement - upper. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooling Pipe Replacement - Upper
5. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation cooling pipe replacement - lower. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooling Pipe Replacement - Lower
6. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Replacement
7. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation pipe. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pipe Replacement
8. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Vacuum Regulator Valve Solenoid Replacement
9. Remove and mark up vacuum and electrical connections.

Tighten
10 N·m(88.6 lb in)

25 N·m(18 lb ft)
