Knuckle Replacement GNC

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Remove the rear wheel speed sensor. Refer to Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement.
  4. Remove the rear spring. Refer to Rear Spring Replacement.
  5. Remove the rear wheel bearing and hub. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement.
  6. Remove the rear bolts from the trailing arm. Refer to Trailing Arm Replacement.
  7. Remove the lower shock absorber bolt from the knuckle. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement.
  8. Remove the stabilizer shaft to knuckle bolt. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement.
  9. Remove the adjust link to knuckle bolt. Refer to Adjust Link Replacement.

Procedure

Use a proper jack stand to load the knuckle when tightening the fasteners.

Procedure
