Removal Procedure

    Caution: When you are performing service on or near the SIR components or the SIR wiring, you must disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System. Failure to follow the correct procedure could cause air bag deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs.

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .

    3. Object Number: 295290 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the fasteners retaining the memory seat module.
  5. Remove the module from the seat.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the memory seat module.
  2. Install the fasteners that retain the memory seat module to the seat.

    3. Object Number: 295290 Size: SH
  3. Install the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Seat Belts.
